PICTURE BY TOLUWALOPEA backstage is always a loud house. Models putting on designers outfits, Back stagers trying to organize things, Designers showing off collections and checking out models who fit their styles and creativity.
Osun International Fashion Show was no different infact it was more of a loud house than the committees expected, they must have thought since they were working with professionals they wouldn't have to stress at the backstage forgetting that models, designers and back stagers are human and also they get excited,angry,sad,out of control and the most important aspect which is choice. The choices made by the designer could affect the models and choices made by models could affect the back stagers ( make up artist included), in all of these the back stage is basically the real deal.

Osun International Fashion week was no doubt a success, funny enough it's not what you would expect when you take a peek backstage. A successful show should be credited all the way back to what happens back stage, the time to prepare, the chaos, especially those splendid moments when models love what they wear and want to take several pictures, " Oh such headaches ". In the state of Osun, fashion and modelling is not a sought for lifestyle, locals are obsessed with morals, culture and traditions that it's a bit difficult to make them see the beauty and creativity in fashion generally which is why kudos should be given to the committee who has brought about Osun International Fashion week and other fashion shows hosted in the state of Osun.
In all of these, the back stage is a cogent part of a show and bringing it down to Osun international fashion week, the back stage though a wreck of nerves brought about a successful show despite the ups and downs,the screaming and yelling,the empty stomachs, models going up and down trying to beat time,back stagers literally fraustrated trying to call models in order, designers hammering on models not ruining their outfit, make up artist trying to work on two or more faces at a time and so on.
PICTURE BY NIEL_LENZ Most times people don't regard back stagers the way the do with models and designers but just so you know,these guys basically do most of the work for a show to be successful and I must say on this case, kudos be given to them as arranging and rearranging, yelling and coordinating, running and standing isn't such an easy task. Looking to the bright side at the end of the show everyone including the committee took several shots backstage to celebrate a job weldone!!!
